Roxas [Cause I need freedom now]

[The video opens on a sunset, though it's a bit hard to see. Roxas has climbed onto the roof of the pokemon center, since that seems to be the tallest building around in Mahogany. After a moment, Roxas's hand moves into the camera, holding a newly won Glacier badge. He admires it, and the way it glitters in the sunlight. He hasn't won a badge in a while, so this is a feel good moment.]

Just one more to go. For Johto anyway.

It's too bad Mahogany town doesn't really have taller buildings. You can't really see the sunset from here.

[There's a pause]

Haven't heard this music in a long time.

The chocolates that showed up with the eggs are safe to eat right? They're not gonna do anything weird to anyone or anything, are they?

[Because he's been staring at them warily for four days and he feels like he needs a reward of some sort. Travelling Mount Mortar and all.]

Uh, sorry if I bothered anyone, last week. Something weird was going on. I don't think I was myself.

[Today Roxas can be found wandering around Goldenrod. Since the tournament is over, he'll probably be heading out of Goldenrod again soon, towards future badges and safari zones. He's doing his best to stay out of the rain as much as he can, even with an umbrella.  Mostly because he's packing pikachu and an electric mouse getting wet on your head doesn't sound like a lot of fun.

Anyone who runs into him might find him a little tired and worn out. Lack of sun seems to have an effect on Roxas and he looks like he'd rather be curled up in bed.

But errands must be run]

[Ooc: I figure there are people who Roxas hasn't seen in a while who are hanging out in Goldenrod. So if you have CR and want to do something, now's your chance. Alternately, if you don't have CR and want to do something, you are also welcome :D]

[Action; 6:30 AM]

[If you are staying at Minnie's house in Olivine, and happen to be awake early in the morning, you may encounter Roxas doing some cleaning, as he feels that he should pull his own weight there no matter what Minnie says. He'll be sweeping the floors and dusting and mopping and doing his best to make everything clean. Nothing breaks, surprisingly enough.]

[Roxas has finished cleaning now, and is now passed out on the couch fast asleep. Sparky is flopped on his head.]

[Action/Video; 2:00 PM]

[Battle with Jasmine. Roxas wins his sixth gym badge! Stunning victories by Axel the Growlthe, Sparky the Pikachu, and Aggron! He can be found outside the restaurant eating his victory ice cream, and dealing with the fact that Aggron wants to be cuddly. Despite being a giant steel dinosaur. It's really just a big suck.

He recorded the gym battle, since it's a habit now, and will be accepting video calls.]

[Action; 7:30 PM]

[Roxas can be found on the roof of Minnie's house, watching the sunset and admiring the Mineral badge. It's been a satisfying day, he thinks, but he's kind of melancholy. Watching the sunset after a productive day always brings back memories of an old friend.]

[It's been a rough couple of days for Roxas. Between fighting Shedinja to exhaustion and finding out Sora was gone, he hasn't been feeling the greatest. But at least Xion's awake so he doesn't really have that to worry about anymore. Not knowing what else to do, Roxas decided to get a job, and there was one on a boat so he took it, assuming it was an extension of a pokemart job. So, he loaded a bunch of boxes on to a boat and they said he'd get supper, so that's where he was when he fell asleep. The job was just supposed to be a way to keep busy, to prevent himself from thinking about everything that happened, so he didn't really pay attention to the fact that he was on the Cianwood Ferry.

Yeah.

If you knew he was in Olivine, Roxas has been missing for about a day now. The transmission comes when he's woken up and realized what happened. It's meant to be filtered to Namine and Xion, but he failed at that. He does sound rather sheepish when he speaks.]

Uh...I'm on my way to Cianwood City. I got a job on a boat, but I didn't know it was the ferry.

I'm alright, but I guess I can't really get back to Olivine right now. I'll be back as soon as I can.

Sorry.

[Even though he feels bad he can't really contain the wonder on his face as he looks out at the ocean. He's never really seen anything like it, that he can remember, so he's pretty amazed.]

OOC: This is a small introspection piece, as it is officially a year today that Roxas was accepted into Route. It's just a chance for Roxas to reflect so it's not really meant to be responded to icly, and there will be a follow up entry. For those who want to take the action option for it, Roxas will be on the Olivine beach. I'll probably come back and edit this later, but that will be when I have a brain. Other than that, hard to believe that it's been a year, so I just want to take a quick moment here and say Thank You to everyone who has played with me and made this game a joy to be a part of it. Playing in Route has been a great experience, and I'm grateful to have been apart of it. Here's to another year!

[Roxas has mostly been relaxing from the chaos a few days ago. He likes Olivine City. It's nice here, but he's been so tired from the crazy bus ride and chasing down his slowking that he hasn't had a chance to really explore. Today though, he's at least made it to the beach. He's kind of proud of himself. Wasn't he supposed to come here a year ago?]

Looks like I finally made it....

[BRIGHT LIGHT OF 4TH WALL BREAKAGE!!!]

That light again....

[He remembers it from last time, sort of. That really weird dream he had. He looks around for the pokemon that were in his dream, but fails to see them. Instead he realizes that he's now holding his keyblades! He starts, a little bit surprised but also kind of pleased. His Pikachu is looking at them intently.]

Hey Sparky, want to try something? Use thunder on that rock over there.

Chu! pi-Ka- CHU!

Thunder!

[Needless to say, the rock blows up. Roxas looks a little sheepish, and then proceeds to let out all of his pokemon, and is now sparring with them. There is Sparky the Pikachu, Axel the Growlithe, Xion the Luxray, Mosey the Houndoom, Pence the Slowking, and the currently unnamed Aron. Warning, the Aron weighs 132 pounds and likes to cuddle. Bother him?]

[Roxas is out training today on Route 38, just outside of Ecruteak.]

Huh? Pika?

[He bends down and takes off his backpack, opening it to reveal the egg he got for Easter. Seems like it's hatching time!]

Already?

[Not that Roxas really has any more time to comment, as the egg breaks open and...]



Oof!

[It takes a few minutes for things to get sorted out, but when the feed is actually showing something useful again, it's Roxas, flat on his back with an Aron on his chest. It seems to be quite cuddly. And very heavy. As physically fit as he is, Roxas can barely move with a 132 pound pokemon on his chest. Sparky's trying to help him out but it doesn't seem to be working. Roxas tries for a moment to push it off but no such luck. So he's just kind of lying there, on Route 38, with an Aron on his chest. At least it's kinda cute, right?]
