[The video opens on a sunset, though it's a bit hard to see. Roxas has climbed onto the roof of the pokemon center, since that seems to be the tallest building around in Mahogany. After a moment, Roxas's hand moves into the camera, holding a newly won Glacier badge. He admires it, and the way it glitters in the sunlight. He hasn't won a badge in a while, so this is a feel good moment.]

Just one more to go. For Johto anyway.

It's too bad Mahogany town doesn't really have taller buildings. You can't really see the sunset from here.

Haven't heard this music in a long time.

You'll have little trouble against her Gyarados, at least. The others... Surely one of your Pokémon could learn Ice Beam from the TM.

Maybe. I'd have to take a look, but I'd be a bit worried about relying on one attack.

Well, I have to pass through the ice cave, so maybe I can find a pokemon there that can help.

That's true. However, you'll have to spend a few weeks training it. There's a rather large level difference to reduce.

Yeah. But I usually do that anyway, just to make sure I'm absolutely ready.

That could have its use as a quick transportation method, but considering the necessary steps...

If your goal is to return to the closest city, rather than travelling further...

It'd be easier to walk than just to let your pokemon faint.

It's also less painful for everyone involved.

...Which does make me wonder why attacks such as Explosion exist in the first place.

Klu knows it, but we usually pretend it does not exist. He's more than strong enough to defeat opponents without it.
