[The video opens on a sunset, though it's a bit hard to see. Roxas has climbed onto the roof of the pokemon center, since that seems to be the tallest building around in Mahogany. After a moment, Roxas's hand moves into the camera, holding a newly won Glacier badge. He admires it, and the way it glitters in the sunlight. He hasn't won a badge in a while, so this is a feel good moment.]

Just one more to go. For Johto anyway.

It's too bad Mahogany town doesn't really have taller buildings. You can't really see the sunset from here.

[There's a pause]

Haven't heard this music in a long time.

I hope so, if they care about their inhabitants' health.

Yeah. Guess I'll have to be careful when I get there.

Drink nothing but what you can buy in vending machines. It's safer.

Right. I'll remember that.

...And don't touch the pond water, unless you like Grimers.

Grimers. I'll remember that to.

Might be a useful pokemon to catch.

As long as you remember not to touch them directly, perhaps.

Will they poison me if I do?

Probably not out of any malicious intent, but since their bodies are made of poisonous grime...

Probably be best to be cautious.

High-quality rubber gloves might suffice if it comes down to it.

I think I still have some of those. They helped when Sparky was a Pichu.

Excellent. You are ready for any Poison-type this world might throw at you.

I even got antidotes just in case.

Those are always good to have, considering how common the type is.

Yeah. They've come in handy more than once.

I could hardly imagine crossing most caves without them.

Are there a lot poison types in Kanto?

I've not seen many yet, but I've not gone further than the cross-shaped area surrounding Saffron. They could be more common elsewhere.

Guess we'll have to see.

Surely someone will reach those routes soon enough.

Then it depends if they say anything about them.

...If there is anything particularly interesting about them, perhaps.
