[So, today in Violet City, it's a pleasant evening. And there is one very determined slowpoke marching along the street]

Poke, poke, poke, poke...

[There's also one very confused trainer chasing after it.]

Slowpoke, where are you going?

[I don't think even Slowpoke even knows. It just needs to get somewhere. Feel free to help Roxas catch him.]

That seems to be working!

[Granted, Roxas has been chasing slowpoke for a while and is kind of out of breath. Still he goes for another sprint with the pokeball. Another miss]

Maybe we need another pokemon to slow him down.

[Fumbles for another pokéball since running makes this awkward. All the same he gets a hold of one and pitches it in Slowpoke's direction]

Help Drifloon stop that Slowpoke, Vaporeon!

[Good thing she's got a good speed stat, off she goes after that not-so-slow-poke]

[Slowpoke has started to slow down because of all the pokemon, but it keeps wanting to go forward]

I think I might be able to get him now.

[He holds out the pokeball, and is able to retrieve Slowpoke]

I guess I'll have to train him better.

Yeah. He hatched from an egg recently, so his level's kinda low.

His level's low so it's hard to put him up against other pokemon here. They're too strong for him.

Sometimes. When he was at level one it was really hard. Now he's at level ten so it's a bit easier.
