Day 43 [video/Action for around Goldenrod.]

[Today's video starts in the woods, being propped up by some tree branches. It's recording a pokemon battle.

Roxas stands in a battle position with Joltik on his head, Sparky the Pikachu on his right and Xion the Luxray on the left. They're facing down a rather larger hoard of nidorans, yanmas, growlithes, and various other wild pokemon in the area. If anyone gets a good look at Roxas, they would notice a yellow glow about him, as well as the fact that his hair is defying gravity more than usual.

There's a pause for a moment and then battle is on. There's electricity flying everywhere and Roxas is in the thick of things, tossing out electric attacks with the best of them. Thunderwave and thunderbolt and spark and it's amazing that the forest is largely intact after this fight.

The dust finally settles and Roxas goes to face the gear.]

I was feeling better, so I went out to train and that happened. Next thing I know, I'm able to use pokemon attacks and wild pokemon are coming after me like crazy.

[He looks over his shoulder to see more pokemon coming. He raises his hand and it crackles with electricity. The screen starts wavering and making a weird popping, static sound before it cuts out.]

What exactly's go---[kzzzt! sshkshkshskshk!]

[ooc: So Roxas shorted out his gear. Any video responses will come several hours later as he had to ask Namine to get him a new gear. Hopefully, rubber gloves will prevent him from doing that again. For action, he's in and around Goldenrod.]

[She figures staying connected is the best way since of the things happening lately.]

[He looks a little sheepish]

I guess in front of the pokemart. I'll collect things here and meet you there.

[The gear's about two feet away from him. He doesn't want to short it out again.]

[Response comes a bit later. Roxas ignores the laughing in favor of looking over Sora.]

I guess you have electric powers now to, huh?

Yeap. I'm thinking that Riku's the only one that didn't get electric powers. Out of us, anyway.

Sometimes it takes time to adapt to this new powers. I wonder how long this will last.

[ She sighs a bit. ]

[He doesn't care what's going on anymore BECAUSE THAT WAS DEFINITELY ONE OF THE COOLEST THINGS HE HAS SEEN. He puts aside his own worries in favor of watching Roxas battle alongside his pokemon.]

That was seriously cool! How'd it feel?

Weird. At first.

But then kinda cool. Usually I'm just giving commands, but now it's like I get to fight with them. It's kinda fun.

More fun than what I used to do back home.

[He laughs, covering up that sad smile that Roxas did not see in the very least.]

Your pokemon seem to be having a great time too!

Jeez, as if being sick wasn't bad enough, the wildlife has to get even MORE hostile, too?!

_{[Her irritability over the whole thing is only emphasized by the way great blotches of skin on her shoulders and face have grown dark and scorched-looking... her hair, too, looks burnt.]}

Yeah, they just came at me out of nowhere.

I was able to fight them off though.

[He sighs. All the electricity is starting to get to him.]
