Day 41 [video]

[The video opens on a sunset, though it's a bit hard to see. Roxas has climbed onto the roof of the pokemon center, since that seems to be the tallest building around in Mahogany. After a moment, Roxas's hand moves into the camera, holding a newly won Glacier badge. He admires it, and the way it glitters in the sunlight. He hasn't won a badge in a while, so this is a feel good moment.]

Just one more to go. For Johto anyway.

It's too bad Mahogany town doesn't really have taller buildings. You can't really see the sunset from here.

[There's a pause]

Haven't heard this music in a long time.

What was it like? Being a part of the organization?

It's still kind of fuzzy, but I guess it was alright. I mostly stayed out of the way, doing missions like I was supposed to, meeting Axel and Xion for ice cream.

[He pauses. It still sounds weird to say because all of his memories of that time just have him and Axel, but he knows Xion's supposed to be there.]

I mean, some of the others were okay, like Demyx or Luxord. But still, they were using me.

You had friends. It's better than being alone.

[Yeah, unlike her. ): She's not exactly org material, so that's why she probably wans't given a number.

That or Organization XV doesn't sound as badass.]

I guess so. Though...it'd be better if I could remember Xion from back then.

I wish I could have kept the memories, but there wasn't anything I could salvage.

When are you planning to get the final badge for Johto?

I know. It was all or nothing.

[He shrugs.]

Whenever you're ready to head out. There's not a lot here so there's no point in sticking around.

We'll have to go through the Ice Path though.

... what's in the Ice Path? Do we need to bring anything?

[Sounds like it could be cold in there.]

Probably Ice Heals, and stuff like that. Winter jackets probably.

... not really. I sometimes use it to wrap new pokemon eggs I get, and the new ones that hatch seem to always tear it at one part or stretch it in some way. I'll have to get a new one.

[Roxas knows he shouldn't really laugh but that seems like something Namine would do.]

We'll make sure you get one then. We can probably order it from the department store in Goldenrod or something.
