Day 17 - Video

[The feed clicks on, and before the location is discerned a large bolt of electric light covers the screen. Your eyes might hurt from staring at it. When it fades, there's an image of one very confident Pikachu, and one very fried Scizor.]

Man...I just can't seem to win this week...here, the Hive badge is yours.

[Roxas takes the badge, and the TM, and heads out, Sparky on his shoulder. He picks up the gear on his way, but doesn't really realize it's on till he's out of the building]

....I guess everyone saw that. [sigh, he's starting to hate technology. second accidental video in a week. there's a pause, Roxas has a question to ask]

Uh...has there been any word on Minnie?

And is anyone missing a Haunter? I found one in a pokeball in the forest.

Is everyone fine and conscious? I'm sure fainting cannot be pleasant for them.

Not quite, Beedrill and Olette are knocked out, so I have to go to the pokemon center.

I hope they'll get well quickly.

Will you move on to Goldenrod once they're healed? I've heard it is much livelier than Violet or Azalea.

I'm not sure. I was thinking about going back to Violet for the festival, but I haven't decided yet.

The festival? [Yes, Cecil somehow managed to miss all mentions of a festival on the Pokégear.] There is a festival planned in Violet? Is it soon?

I don't know the date, but Sora and Ven have been planning it. Apparently it'll be in Violet and Azalea. And maybe Goldenrod.

...I truly need to leave Cherrygrove. It would be a shame to miss this.

You should. There are a lot more interesting cities beyond it. Violet's a nice place to stay to.

Sadly, it seems the world conspires to keep me away from Violet. I can only hope I'll reach the city before the start of the festival.

I was, though she has just recently left by herself for Goldenrod. [~~Like a week ago. Probably. Mun isn't sure.~~] The rest of our group intends to meet back up with her further down the road. We're supposed to travel together once more after she finishes her duty.

I shall convince my comrades to move on quickly, then. Perhaps we'll see each other there?

Yeah, maybe. I'll try to get back there for the festival but I might go ahead to Goldenrod as well.

I might also go looking for Minnie.

I think she was kidnapped. A lot of people are looking for her.

Kidnapped? Were the authorities informed? Were her Pokémon also taken? Has the culprit been identified?

I really don't know. They said whoever did it kidnapped someone before but they don't know who he is.

I don't know about her pokemon.

That person has already committed two kidnappings? How could anyone do such evil in this peaceful world?

Hopefully they managed to get away. I shudder to think of what such a monster could do to them.
