Character Information
CHARACTER
NAME: Roxas. In Organization XIII: Number XIII, The Key of Destiny.
AGE: 15 (I assume he’s the same age as Sora, being his nobody)
GENDER: Male
ROLE IN CANON: Protagonist, for the most part.
FANDOM/MEDIUM: Video game/Manga.
TIMELINE PERIOD: Just prior to Roxas returning to Sora at the end of the Prologue in Kingdom Hearts Two.
ABILITIES: As a Nobody, Roxas has the ability to travel between worlds using portals to darkness. He can also summon Dusk Nobodies, particularly his own, the Samurai nobodies, as well as his two keyblades Oathkeeper and Oblivion. He is unaware of these abilities at the present moment, aside from summoning his keyblades.
CHARACTER HISTORY: (Contains slight speculation to Roxas’s time in the Organization)
Roxas’s life began when his counterpart, Sora stabbed himself with a keyblade, releasing the heart of his friend Kairi and becoming a heartless. When a heartless is created, the shell left behind becomes a nobody. If the person who became a heartless had a strong will, a human-form nobody is created. Such was the case with Roxas. Sora only spent a brief time as a heartless, and was restored to his human form by Kairi. This resulted in Roxas and Sora co-existing, but were unaware of each other, and both were incomplete.
Roxas’s creation didn’t go unnoticed, and he was soon recruited into Organization XIII, a group of human nobodies who were determined to access Kingdom Hearts and gain their hearts back. While he was in Organization XIII, Roxas became friends with another nobody, Axel. The two of them often went on missions together, and would hang out after each mission. There was a third nobody, Xion, but it is hard to say what role she played at this moment. (I speculate she and Roxas were friends.)
Roxas entered Organization XIII with the idea that he would find answers to his questions. He wanted to know why he wielded the keyblades and what made him so special? With those thoughts in mind, Roxas left Organization XIII, determined to find answers. Axel tried to stop him but was unable to do so. Shortly after that, Roxas met Sora’s friend Riku, helping him to fend off the many heartless that were attacking them. Once the threat was removed, they turned on each other. Roxas seemed to have an edge in the battle, but Riku accepted the power of darkness and was able to overcome Roxas. Riku took Roxas to DiZ, who would be able to join him and Sora back together.
DiZ transported Roxas to a virtual town that he had made, based off of an existing world, Twilight Town, in order to keep him hidden from Organization XIII. There Roxas’s memories were erased, and it seemed that he lived his whole life there. In that world, he spent his time hanging out with his friends Hayner, Pence, and Ollette, eating sea-salt ice cream and playing struggle. Then Roxas started having dreams about Sora, and strange things began to happen to him. Dusks were starting to appear, and Roxas had made the Keyblade materialize. He couldn’t explain it, and couldn’t talk about it to his friends, who didn’t seem to notice. Axel appeared, trying to get Roxas to come back, or else he would have to eliminate him. His attempts were in vain.
Roxas met with a girl named Namine, who tried to explain what had happened between him and Sora. Roxas couldn’t understand it, and the only thing clear to him was that his world was falling apart around him. Finally, he was called to the mansion by DiZ, and went if only to find answers. He fought with Axel again, this time defeating him. Roxas then entered a room that held Sora, and seeming to have no choice, became apart of him once again. At least, that was the plan.
CHARACTER PERSONALITY: At least Though Roxas is a nobody, he differs from the others in the way that he seems to feel some emotions. He relates to Sora in the fact that he cares for his friends, and enjoys hanging out with them. He also expresses the same dislike for being manipulated, or confusing him. He seems to have the extremes of Sora’s personality.
At the same time, Roxas possesses a higher intelligence than Sora, as well as better decision making. He is able to see things more rationally, and that makes him a perfect second-in-command, as he was to his friend Hayner in Twilight Town. He would usually control the wild personality that his friend had. He does his best to keep things normal, as he doesn’t like people worrying about him. He does his best to make sure everything is fair. He’s also a hard worker.
Roxas, however, is quick to anger, and is seen in his early hatred of Sora, whom he was constantly compared to by DiZ because of their relation. He wants to be seen as his own person. As he became more and more aware of Sora and what was happening to him, Roxas adopted a melancholy attitude, as well as stoic.
Roxas is fairly athletic. He played Struggle with his friends and was quite good at it, perhaps a remnant from the days when he fought with a keyblade. He is also quite good at skateboarding. He also has a weakness for sea-salt ice cream. As well as being quick to anger, Roxas also falls victim to over thinking which leads people to worry about him.
WORLD: Twilight Town – Not exactly a bustling metropolis, Twilight Town is fairly quiet. The residents are all acquainted with each other, and are very friendly. There is a beach nearby, and is generally a good place to relax and hang out. The most exciting event is the annual Struggle tournament.
ROLE: Roxas would be best suited as a civilian at the moment, as he is only fifteen years old, and still trying to figure out what was going on in his world, much less this new one.

I love Roxas, and I do enjoy how you play him, but the problem is not much personality radiates from your posts? I think this may be because in you usually use periods and commas instead of exclamation marks and question marks, you know?
I do understand Roxas is in a bit of an identity crisis, but he's also just a kid so maybe you can play up on that more?
I don't know much of BSG, but right now both of your characters seem to be the same, so maybe try doing things that make them a little more drastically personality wise?
Also you do a lot of open logs a lot, and I think maybe if you wanted to you could hit up one of us and plot a bit? Or post more on the main comm, actually, that would work too! AIM will also help with that! The only reason I got AIM was for pluto ahhaa.
Hope this helps! ♥

Maybe try looking for distinct speech patterns? For example Larry uses 'like', 'dude', 'bro', and 'sweet' a lot, while Lucy talks in short simple, and sometimes vague sentences.

I understand what you're saying, and I am trying to work on it. I've been working on making Roxas more of a kid (hence the rat, and there was a log where he had a pillow-fight with Sora). I see what you're getting at with the personality-thing, so I'll try to improve there. I think a part of it might come down to me and life at the moment.
I haven't really had the opportunity to play with Sam much though, so I'll try to bring him out more. They are kind of similar now that I think about it. Time to break out the Season 2 DVDs. I'll take your suggestions into account. (Watch BSG!)
I am planning to get AIM as soon as school ends and I can actually devote more time to the roleplay. Things are really busy for me right now, and I'm trying to limit as many distractions as possible. It's just easier for me to reply to stuff rather than start it.
Thanks for your input. I'll definetly work on your suggestions.

"Fifteen, and I'm a lot stronger than I look. I'm the Champion of the Struggle Tournament," he boasted. That probably didn't mean anything to her, but it did to him. He'd even beat Setzer.
Like there, you could've put and exclamation more instead of a comma? It just gives off more personality you know?
