Day 15 - Video

[Roxas appears on the video screen, Sparky on his shoulder. He's in a pokemon center, that much is clear, and he looks a little worse for the wear, but that's just because he hasn't had the chance to clean himself up yet]

I made it to Azalea. [pause] I needed to think about stuff, that's why I left Violet. [No more on that subject]

Uh..I caught another pokemon, which gives me six. The guidebook says that's all I can carry so what happens any other pokemon I capture? Am I not allowed to catch anymore or do they go somewhere? 

[he trails off, looking around, until another thought comes to him]

There's a lot of slowpoke at the Slowpoke Well that don't have their tails. They looked really sad. What happened?

[There's some conversation in the back, and Roxas sets down the gear. The angle's sort of distorted but you can sort of see that Roxas has a plate of food, and that Sparky's beside him with food also]

Yeah. Except now this game is real. It's odd... I think that this place is just an entirely different world.

I think so to. It's entirely different from where I was before. I mean, I've seen a world exist in a book so this isn't so far off.

The Hundred Acre Wood. I didn't actually go there though.

[Pause as he thinks about it, since he hasn't really been paying attention to the time. He's sort of counting on his fingers]

Four months I think. What about you?

[He raises his eyebrows. People have been here for this long?]

Only a few days, actually.

Oh, I see. So you're in New Bark Town or around there?

[it's been a long time since he's been there]

Yeah. It's a pretty nice area.

Azalea Town. It's a ways from New Bark Town.

Do you know about how far it is?

Uh, It takes about ten days to get to Violet from New Bark Town, and then another ten days from Violet to Azalea.

That's all walking.

Once you get going, it goes by pretty fast.

Good. It still looks like a pain though.

I didn't mind it. The pokemon attacking is a bit annoying though.

Is there a way to get them to not attack?

Yeah. There was this item called Repel in the games. Don't know if you can get it here, though.
