I...I did it! Rattata finally evolved! I should be able to challenge Falkner soon.

Falkner's the leader of the Violet City gym. You have to beat him to get a gym badge.

Oh, that's right! The gym leaders are the ones that every trainer should challenge if they want to challenge another special group of trainers, right?

Yeah. From what I figured out, you have to collect eight badges in order to challenge the Elite Four and become the champion.

It seemed like something good to go for.

I'm not really sure, but that was the name of the town that he comes from. Maybe the legendary trainer is from another world too?
