[Empathieas] Message Box
Now it seems strange
How we used to wait for letters to arrive
But what's stranger still
Is how something so small can keep you alive
Message Box for Roxas
If you need to get a hold of him.

So you know how a person leaves this place, their crystal disappears and their name goes on the wall? There are times when that doesn't happen.
For some reason, and as far as I can tell, if we leave for a brief time like a few days, our names don't go on the wall and the crystal remains. But it looks...different. Like more translucent or something.
That's what happened to me, Jude, and Milla, anyway.

Do you know when?

I also don't know how long it would be. For us, apparently only three days passed. I'm trying to remember how long it took with others. Could have been shorter or longer. This kind of thing doesn't happen too often, or at least not publicly reported.
[They should. Probably. Fix that.]
In any case, I wanted to let you know.

[He pauses, considering.]
Is there anything else I should know? Or be ready for?

So just hold tight, kid.

[Half-joking. ...Half-serious.]

[Maybe if she's gone completely? He doesn't know what would happen then.}
At least I don't think so.

So how serious about Elize are you, anyway?
[Because this is totally the right time to ask this question (not). But on the other hand, it's not irrelevant. If there's one way to tell how serious Roxas is about Elize, it's to gauge his emotions, reactions, and thoughts about all of this.]

[Granted this is a whole new playing field for him. Marriage isn't exactly on the table, but he does like being with her. The thought of her going back is kind of devastating.]

[Again, half joking, half serious.]

[Not that he's planning anything.]

I don't plan on doing that again.

[HE ACTUALLY was kind of generalizing with that.]

[It's still embarrassing to think about.]

[But they're drifting—actually, that's not necessarily a bad thing considering the initial topic.]
Anyway, I'll hold onto Elize's crystal. When she returns—well, I'm sure she'll actually tell you herself. I expect you'll give her a proper welcoming.
