Namine went home.

[That's all that needs to be said really. Roxas doesn't want to believe it but that's the reality. They'd been travelling together, and they were going to explore Kanto together like they did Johto, and now. Now he's on his own again.

It's weird.

He hasn't felt like this in a long time, doesn't really know what to do with the emotions setting in on him.

It hurts. And he misses her.]

[Although she was seeing this guy for the first time, she couldn't help but feel sympathy for the poor guy. She assumed this Namine was some lady friend he had but to Misaki, it was still a big deal. After all, she's still dealing with some losses herself.

Not from this place though. She hasn't really developed any friendships during the whole time she stayed in this world.]

[What could she say to that? She didn't know this Namine person so she couldn't really say anything without possibly angering the boy. Misaki was a mean person but she doesn't really want to hurt anyone, especially when they're hurting.]

[He's really not sure. He's certain she's gone home, but he's not sure if that means he'll ever see her again.]

If she's that important to you, just make sure you won't forget about her, OK? It might come back to haunt you one day if that happens.

[This was the first time Misaki felt genuinely happy towards something that doesn't involve being a total bitch to anyone.]

[But if he wants it, a train ride is no trouble at all.]

[Roxas has to think for a bit. He doesn't want to be too much of a bother...]

I'll take the first train there. I don't know when it'll leave, but that should not take too long.

[It's Sparky who answers the door with a bit of help. Roxas looks up from where he was sitting on the floor. The TV's on, but mostly for background noise.]

[He enters the room and approaches Roxas, though not before patting Sparky's head. His shoulder bears a Litwick that greets them both quietly, and his hands a bag of cookies.]

Have any members of her team joined you?

[Roxas pulls out a pokeball and opens it, revealing Salty the Togekiss.]

When I found out she was gone, I checked the box. I don't know about her other pokemon.

[Salty floats over to give him a knudge]

She's left traces of herself with you, at least. That's always good to have.

[What might also be good to have is the hug he now offers.]

[Roxas nods, trying to hold back his tears and leaning into the hug.]

...There's always the chance she'll come back.

[Which might be even worse if she remembers nothing of her previous stays, but still.]

I know. She's come back before.

It still hurts though. I mean, she was really important...

[Roxas nods. He's going to try and believe in Cecil's words.]

I don't think I'll need that long. Namine would probably get mad at me if that was all I did.

If it upsets her, it won't do at all. Making friends angry is hardly a good way of missing them.

Exactly. I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing. I'll get all the badges and become the champion.

And I'll take lots of pictures while I'm at it.

Take enough to cover the walls of her room when she returns. I doubt you'll lack occasions.

Yeah, I got a whole region to take pictures of after all.

That would be really cool.

Who knows what sorts of Pokémon live there? She'd surely be happy if you showed them to her, even if only in images.

You think there's more than just clefairy up there? They came from the moon, right?

Supposedly, or from Mt. Moon at the very least. But there might also be Lunatones, Solrocks, Elgyems... Or even species that have not yet descended to the ground.

I miss her already.

It's kind of hard not to.

Mr. Cecil's coming. I think I'll be okay.

[He's glad it's text. Then she can't see that he's been crying.]

[She doesn't have dry eyes either.]

Things I thought were impossible have happened here, and back in my world.

[He knows when Roxas doesn't want to be seen, he doesn't want to be seen. All the same, he responds with audio]

[Just missing her, and trying not to sniffle.]

Did you get any of her pokemon?

Doesn't look like it. None of them have found me so far, anyway.

Are you...were you traveling with anybody else?
