[The video opens on Roxas. He looks a bit worn out and kind of slumped.]

For anyone who has a Joltik, just so you know. They get bigger when they evolve.

[He lifts to camera up to show a Galvantura sitting happily on Roxas's head while Sparky is chattering at him to get down. The Galvantura shows no signs of moving, but rather settles in further, it's front legs coming down in front of Roxas's face. He attempts to brush them out of the way to no avail.]

A lot bigger.

I was thinking we should head out to Kanto soon. Is that alright?

How big was it before?

[Enjoy the view of Route 29. And a worn-but-happy-looking Torchic peeping at the camera from its comfortable seat on top of Sasuke's head. Thankfully for Sasuke, his pokemon isn't too big to sit there just yet.]

[Roxas blinks, surprised to see a new face but moves on quickly. He holds his hands up in a small circle.]

Tiny. He could sit on my head without me noticing before.

I think Joltik are the smallest pokemon or something.

I thought they'd be good to have.

[His eyes widen for a few seconds before he shakes it off, frowning a little at the camera.] I see.

[He didn't think evolution would change a pokemon's size that drastically. Maybe the height averages weren't just an average that the pokemon would naturally grow into...]

Well, yeah. They are, but do you know how to ride one?

[Because if you do, it wasn't a skill you passed on. Roxas has had bad experiences with bikes in the past.]

Pokemon are weird like that. It's hard to expect things with them.

[The Torchic on his head pipes up at that and hops down onto Sasuke's lap, seeming to nod into the camera and warbling when he feels a warm hand on his head. He ends up mumbling more to himself than to Roxas, then.]

I wonder how big Hiruzen will get...

...Thaaaaaaaat's big.

[he says while a Joltik is cuddling up next to his neck]

That's a Torchic, right?

[Roxas is going to consult his pokedex. Unfortunately not a lot comes up. Just the basics.]

I think it evolves at least twice, so probably pretty big.

I know. I didn't expect this at all.

[Galvantura will wave at the Joltik.]

I miss my Joltik.

[The Joltik waves cheerfully at the Garvantula in return.]

Well, he's still the same Pokémon, right? Just bigger.

Yeah, he's a Torchic. I'll have to look more into his evolutions tonight.

[He nods, glancing down again and sighing as Torchic starts falling asleep on his lap. He'd been working Torchic pretty hard... He'd go easier on Torchic tomorrow, if only because they'd reach town then.

And, the darkening of the sky that isn't from sunset prompts him to frown more deeply. Great, looks like rain. He'll have to move soon.]

Yeah, that's true.

It's a bit harder to get him out of my hair now. He's stubborn.

I can imagine, especially if he likes it up there.

Is he your starter? I haven't seen you around before.

[After being around here for over two years, you get to remembering people.]

He does. When he was a Joltik, he liked hiding up there.

He is. [Don't mind the background moving and the camera shaking a little while he walks, carrying Torchic with him while he does.]

[He doesn't mind. Travelling's all part of the deal after all.]

He looks like a good partner. I started with a Pichu, but he's a Pikachu now.

[And that is Sparky's cue to start hamming it up on screen.]

[Partner. The term is still a little foreign to him and he just looks down at Torchic, his steps slowing before he finds a tree that looks like it'll provide enough cover and sits beneath it.]

... Maybe.

Yeah I know how to ride one. Don't you?

Trust me. They make great partners.

Oh yeah, I'm Roxas.

No.

[But not for lack of trying.]

I'd rather skateboard.

... Sasuke. [Somehow, since introducing himself to Kairi, giving his name out seems to be easier. At least his first name, since that isn't particularly dangerous.

And that noise over the music would be the rain starting to fall where Sasuke is.]

[Makes little difference to Roxas.]

Yeah. Just over two years now.
