Day 35 [Action; Open to Namine and Xion; Otherwise Closed]

[It's a normal day at Minnie's house in Olivine City. Roxas has just finished cleaning the kitchen, so he's hanging out on his bunk with Sparky, sort of listening to the radio, sort of reading a map. He's trying to plan out the next stage of his journey, as he's starting to feel the need to travel again. At least, before it snows or something like that. There's still two more badges to get after all.]

... I didn't know there was one. I suppose that's why you look so cheerful today.

Right. [ To both. She stretches on her tip toes for a bit. ] Oh, but... If that's alright with you two.

Yeah, sure. I mean, I was hoping to head to Cinnabar Island soon, but we can detour to Goldenrod.

It's fine by me too. If this is something you really want to do, why not go for it?

[ She smiles at them both, almost practically grinning at them, too, for their approval. ]

I just thought I'd try my hand, you know. And it's really been a while... I probably won't win, but I'll give it a shot?

Yeah give it a shot. But, Xion, you shouldn't go in thinking you're going to lose.

[ Annnd... now she's blinking at them both for their answers. ]

Play to win, huh? Hm, that means I'll have to prepare and train a lot before then.

How long before the competition? Hopefully you have enough time for it, and we'll have to go back to Goldenrod too.

I think I remember it says the tournament starts around the beginning of October. They'll provide transfer if we need it.

[ She turns to Roxas. ]

I'd like that.

That's good. I don't think Fearow can carry all of us.

Sure. When did you want to start?

Alright. If there's anything I can do to help though, I'd be glad to help.

[With that answer, she's satisfied, and she lapses into thoughtful silence as she lets the two of them discuss it, quiet. It's times like this she feels like she gets behind and wishes she was capable for any sort of form of battle, but even up to now, she's too weak willed for that.]

[ She grins almost shyly as she answers: ] Right away? If you're up for that, Roxas.

[ She notices Namine has gone quiet after she gives her input. She doesn't remember much of the other girl really being a fighter, but... ] It'd be nice if you could still join us.

Sure. Wasn't really doing much anyway.

[He nods in agreement to Xion's statement.]

... oh, um. I-I won't be of much help when it comes to fighting, anyway, so...

Okay! I'll go get my Keyblade in a little bit.

Hmm... Maybe we can teach you? [ BECAUSE ALL OF SORA'S HEART SPAWN NEEDS TO WIELD ONE AT LEAST ONCE. ]

Yeah, we should do that. If you want to, Namine.

You're already worried about the competition. Teaching me would just get in the way.

But would you want to try?

I wouldn't mind teaching you.

[She looks back and forth between them, a little speechless, before bowing head.]

I... don't know. I don't want to be helpless anymore but... Back at home, it's not like I have a Keyblade like both of you do.

That doesn't mean you can't have one here, in Johto.

[ She smiles reassuringly at Namine. She can understand the feeling of not wanting to be helpless. ]

Xion's right. And we can probably come up with a really cool design to!

[There's a pause as she glances between them again, before sighingand nodding, forcing a smile on. She knows they're not going to drop the subject until they convince her.]
