Day 34 [A Day in the Life of Roxas. A Post with Many Parts]

[Part A]

[Action; 6:30 AM]

[If you are staying at Minnie's house in Olivine, and happen to be awake early in the morning, you may encounter Roxas doing some cleaning, as he feels that he should pull his own weight there no matter what Minnie says. He'll be sweeping the floors and dusting and mopping and doing his best to make everything clean. Nothing breaks, surprisingly enough.]

[Part B]

[Action; 8:00 AM]

[Roxas has finished cleaning now, and is now passed out on the couch fast asleep. Sparky is flopped on his head.]

[Part C]

[Action/Video; 2:00 PM]

[Battle with Jasmine. Roxas wins his sixth gym badge! Stunning victories by Axel the Growlthe, Sparky the Pikachu, and Aggron! He can be found outside the restaurant eating his victory ice cream, and dealing with the fact that Aggron wants to be cuddly. Despite being a giant steel dinosaur. It's really just a big suck.

He recorded the gym battle, since it's a habit now, and will be accepting video calls.]

[Part D]

[Action; 7:30 PM]

[Roxas can be found on the roof of Minnie's house, watching the sunset and admiring the Mineral badge. It's been a satisfying day, he thinks, but he's kind of melancholy. Watching the sunset after a productive day always brings back memories of an old friend.]

[ooc: All parts are up for grabs, however, kindly indicate which part you are responding to in the subject line. Thanks]

They do? I've never seen Pence do that.

I think someone was cutting them off, actually.

The pokédex said that... I haven't really went out to observe them, but it would make sense.

Cutting their tails off is really cruel. Do you know why someone would do that?

Not really. I think it had something to do with Team Rocket.

I see... The ones I have seen so far seem to be fine, so at least I can hope that things like those haven't happened again.

That's good. I haven't been there in a while, so I couldn't really check on them.

Have you see the Slowpoke Well?

We just passed by...

But after this conversation, I think I will pay a visit tomorrow or the day after, to make sure the slowpoke are safe.

I will let you know about it, if you'd like to.

Please. I'm sure Pence would like to know as well.

Pence is your slowpoke, I assume?

[identity profile] seasalttwilight.livejournal.com 2011-09-13 04:13 am (UTC)(link)
Slowking, actually. He was a slowpoke though.
isthedeadcat: (77)

[personal profile] isthedeadcat 2011-09-13 04:30 am (UTC)(link)
I see. I can understand his concern...

[identity profile] seasalttwilight.livejournal.com 2011-09-14 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
I think he notices it. I can't really tell.
isthedeadcat: (65)

[personal profile] isthedeadcat 2011-09-14 03:38 am (UTC)(link)
He's a difficult one to read...?

[identity profile] seasalttwilight.livejournal.com 2011-09-14 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
[Roxas pauses and then holds up the camera to Pence the Slowking. Who blinks slowly at the camera with a slightly dazed expression on his face]

...slow?
isthedeadcat: (33)

[personal profile] isthedeadcat 2011-09-14 05:28 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. Very difficult to read.

[identity profile] seasalttwilight.livejournal.com 2011-09-15 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. They're not the smartest pokemon.
isthedeadcat: (67)

[personal profile] isthedeadcat 2011-09-15 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
Certainly... Is he a hard worker at least?

[identity profile] seasalttwilight.livejournal.com 2011-09-15 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. He's a good battler, once he gets going.
isthedeadcat: (34)

[personal profile] isthedeadcat 2011-09-15 02:50 am (UTC)(link)
That's important too.

[identity profile] seasalttwilight.livejournal.com 2011-09-15 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. He's a psychic water type so he's really useful.
isthedeadcat: (61)

[personal profile] isthedeadcat 2011-09-17 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, he must be... Both types can be really useful in battle and when traveling.

[identity profile] seasalttwilight.livejournal.com 2011-09-17 04:30 am (UTC)(link)
Mm, he's better for battling though. Not so much travelling.
isthedeadcat: (63)

[personal profile] isthedeadcat 2011-09-26 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
He doesn't seem to be the type to enjoy long walks, that's for sure.

[identity profile] seasalttwilight.livejournal.com 2011-09-26 03:04 am (UTC)(link)
Well, he might enjoy them, but I don't think anything registers.
