I'm glad you have. You seem... much happier here.

[There's a pause. He's noticed it himself, but he didn't realize others did as well.]

[ She laughs softly on her end. ]

Oh...I'm on the beach if you wanted to come by.

I guess it is better to talk about this over there. Okay.

[ And Xion is on her way. It doesn't take long, as she was somewhere near the beach, and it's easy to spot Roxas. She walks closer and goes to sit next to him on the sand. ]

Hey, Roxas. [ A pause. ] I guess I can tell by just... interacting with you.

[He's probably the only one on the beach at this time of day]

[He also pauses]

Have I really changed that much?

[ She nods. ] You remind me a little of the times we had in the Organization... [ But of course, he wouldn't remember that. ]

But you do seem happier.

You would have been there, when I was hanging out with Axel, right?

[Most of it's fuzzy, but he can sort of remember it. At least, clocktower and ice cream are key thoughts]

I think I've finally got a reason to be happy.

[ She tilts her head at that. ]

Yeah. I mean, this is the first time I've ever actually gotten to be me, when I think about it. I'm not being used by the Organization in this world, and I'm pretty sure it's not a digital creation. It's real, and I'm real, and I get to do what I want to do. If that makes sense.

[ She wonders about this "digital creation" bit he mentioned, but since it seems to be something that he's glad he's not a part of anymore... All she can do is smile and nod. ]

It does. Finally something to call our own...

[He nods]

I guess that's why it means so much to me. My pokemon, the badges I've collected, they're something I've done, with my own power.

This world really was a fresh start for us.

It is... [ She smiles, but it doesn't quite reach her eyes as she gazes back at the ocean. For all the good this world is, Xion still... wanted to go back, despite what it would mean for her own existence. ]

[Roxas sits in silence for a bit]

Hey Xion...did we ever go to a beach?

[ She's silent herself for a time. ]

Not... together.

But we did go to beaches?

[ Slowly shakes her head. ]

I meant, like before. We did go to beaches, just not together.
