[So, despite the dark things going on with the Rockets and all that, Roxas has really been thinking about this joke thing, and senses of humour and all that. He still has trouble with it, but he found a book and he's going to try to tell a joke]

I...I found some jokes. I don't know if everyone likes these kinds though, so I hope they're alright.

[Takes a breath, and it's told in a fairly serious tone. This is still new to him.]

What do you get when you cross a Pikachu with a Haunter?

You'll have to learn many, then. The more you'll know, the better you'll be able to decide which type of jokes and jests you like best.

Yeah. There were a lot of joke books at the store with all kinds of different jokes.

I just got the one with pikachu jokes.

It's not a very long book, but there's a lot.

...I have no idea. Which is it?

Pikan pie.

[A beat. Then, some restrained but genuine laughter, as falling of an Arcanine would make for a very embarrassing death.]

Goodness. The book's authors are quite imaginative. Any others?

They are yeah.

Uh...what do you get when you cross a pikachu with a pizza parlour?

Probably a pika-something, but I don't know what the something is.

You could try to find a book for each of your Pokémon. Someone somewhere must have invented Growlithe jokes.

I can look for one. There were a lot.

Were they all written by the same author?

I'm not sure. I wasn't really looking.

If they were written by many people, you might find that you prefer one style in particular. Humor is a very personal concept after all.

All of it.

Slowly discovering your own sense of humor is worth it. Then again, some people have none of it.

It takes a long time though.

It can take a whole life, even. The elderly rarely keep the same sense of humor they had as children.
