Yeah. It's not the weirdest thing Johto's ever done but it's enough to make me wary.

Yeah. It's been a while since I've had a gym battle and I've heard the Mahogany Leader is tough.

I know it's a goal for trainers, but I haven't heard much about it.

It's pretty fun. It's usually a tough battle, but it's worth it. I got six badges already, so I just need two more before I can challenge the champion.

No, I think he's the champion pokemon trainer. I heard about him in this story about a trainer named Red. After the Champion, he's next.

I only heard it from Nurse Joy, but apparently he's from Pallet Town and is a really strong trainer. He helped take down Team Rocket or fought them at least, and he met with legendary pokemon as well. No one's really heard what happened to him, but I'm determined to find him and battle him one day.

Yeah. Everyone seems to treat him as one.

But there's special kinds of pokemon that are known as legendaries. They're really powerful and pretty much one of a kind.

Far as I know, that's the case. I saw one once, but I haven't seen anything after that.

It was just, really big, and I think it was singing. It was a really calming song.

Yeah, there's a whole bunch of different things. I think we're on a continent, or something.

There is an island though. Cianwood City and The safari zone are on it. You can catch a ferry or surf from Olivine City.

It takes a few days to get there, yeah.

The first time I accidentally ended up on the ferry that goes between the islands.

After that I was able to fly back.

It took me pretty much a year to get there. It's easy to get stuck in the cities.

It's a really nice beach though, quiet, and just outside the city enough that it feels natural.

Ah, it's too bad I'm planning to go in the other direction, when I leave... I'd like to see it.

I think so. You could bypass it you have surf, but I wanted to do some training before the gym battle.

I'm not really sure actually. I think it's closer to Kanto, if I look at the map.

No I haven't. I want to finish with Johto before I go anywhere else, but I have friends who went there.

I think it's lot bigger than you think. Johto's one region, but there are a lot of others.

Well, I looked at mine very carefully and I even cut them in half to see if there was anything wrong, but there didn't seem to be any problems. When my Pokemon sniffed at them they didn't give a violent reaction either, so I ate one and nothing's happened to me so far.

What kind of pokemon did you get?

I've never seen an egg that small before. I don't really know how to deal with hatching it, but it seems okay so far.

[She pulls out a pokeball and calls out her Petilil, who materializes sleeping on the floor. Once it's out though, it stirs awake, eye blinking curiously until Namine bends over and picks it up.]

Yeah. I didn't think they came this small.

It's cute. [And Sparky needs to say hi because he must be friends with all of Namine's pokemon!]

According to the pokedex, she's a Petilil. That makes her the second grass type I have. Her colors seem different from the usual ones though.

[Namine pets the pokemon at the top of the head underneath the tiny leaves, making the pokemon let out a shy and curious "lil!" when she does. After a while, she sets Petilil down to let her roam freely, approaching Sparky curiously.]

Oh yeah? What colour are they normally?

[Friendly waves and Sparky coming over to pick Petilil up for a hug. Probably best that she meet Sparky first as the rest of Roxas's pokemon are all big. For the most part.]

[Petilil makes a squealing sound, stubby feet waving enthusiastically as much as they can.]

All light green. According to the dex, that is.

Weird. I saw another pokemon like that as well. All different colours.

[And success for Sparky!]

It was...as weird few days, but the chocolates seem to be okay. At least, I haven't seen anybody act funny after having some.

Sometimes people remember, and sometimes they don't. It's hard to tell which usually.
